The ballet has long inspired fashion trends: ballet slippers, leotards, tutus! Personally, I have always found the ballerina pictures by Edgar Degas to be visually inspiring:
There is just something about the white dresses, with the pop of colour in the sashes, and the tied slippers about the ankles. It’s all so pretty and simple! When I came across these ankle strap ballet inspired flats from Freya, I immediately fell in love with their ballet inspiration- with almost a punk rock flare.
I know I will style them in many ways, but for this look I wanted to mimic the soft white look of the Degas ballerina. This lace Zara LWD fit the bill! I cannot express how many ways your can wear a LWD and I’ve linked some of my current favs below.
What gives you outfit inspiration? I’d love to know! I hope you each have a fantastic weekend full of laughter and love.
