Leather Love

I’ve mentioned before how much I love texture in fashion, along with pattern mixing. I was so excited putting this look together because I was able to include leather, suede, waffle knit, denim, lace, and metal! I don’t know if there are many more I could add in to the mix. Fashion has definitely become more lenient rule wise toward pattern mixing, there are so many tutorials out there to assist you in mixing and matching them up- it’s even easier to do the same with texture! You can do an entirely monochromatic outfit but make take it to the next level by mixing up the textures. This season has so many rich ones out there- velvet, suede, chiffon, silk, the list goes on.

I loved this Free People sweater, but I couldn’t justify the price for a layering waffle knit. I walked into Target (the magical land of “you need everythingggggg”) and found the one I’m wearing! I love the versatility it provides, so easy to wear over and under any items- and the fact it covers my hands, I’m always curling my sleeves over my hands when I’m cold. It’s the best when you can find an item for less, but still love it just as much.

I hope all you lovely readers are having and amazing Friday!
