The weather here in Virginia has been abnormally warm so far this fall. Finally it’s cool enough for not just simple layers, but for some of my favourite fall accessories- like this gorgeous sequined beanie from Target. When I saw the super chunky knit I knew it had to join my heavy sweater collection immediately.
Blogging has taught me something new about myself every time I post. Having a blog that is heavy in pictures teaches one to be more comfortable with things you hate about yourself- for me it’s my nose. Six months ago I wouldn’t have posted a picture like this, but I’m slowly learning to accept myself more every day. Never forget you may hate something about yourself, but it’s part of what makes you unique and different.
I’m loving this asymmetrical zipper down and knit jacket! It’s so warm, and the funnel neck makes it like being tucked up in a blanket. One of the best shopping tips I can share is to buy things out of season: I purchased this coat at the beginning of the summer at Wilsons Leather, it was marked down from $300 to $25! Always keep your eye out for high quality items you love, even if you can’t wear them right away. I have featured this Michael Kors sweater before; I love the fact it has a removable cowl neck that gives it a completely different look. Versatile items you can style multiple ways updates your look from fashion to personal style. I hope you are all enjoying your week so far, and that your Thanksgiving prep is making your hearts happy and not stressed.
