Brows have been very popular in the makeup and fashion world for a while now. I remember back in the early 2000s when as a teenager I hated my thick brow so much. After getting my hands on a pair of tweezers, I plucked them into non-existence; fortunately for me they grew back! Now, I prefer to only tweeze the strays and keep them as thick as possible. This week I’m sharing some of my favourite products to give you the best brow days yet.
Of course, any product is only as good as the base you are working with. I keep my brow game simple: I tweeze the strays, and then brush them straight up with a spool brush and use cuticle scissors to trim the excessively long ones. Once you have this simple process it’s all about filling them in!
1: This cute little kit contains everything you need for a perfect brow look! Brushes, tweezers, even highlighter to show off your finished product.
2: Benefit Speed Brow really is a fast on the go product! One swipe in includes colour, shaping, and staying power.
3: I have featured e.l.f. products before cause you can’t beat the price! If you have never filled your brows in before this pencil is easy to use and easy on your wallet. You can’t go wrong with trying it out!
4: Powder gives a softer look than a gel, so if you have lighter brows (such as blonde) you may want to stick with a product like this one. Anastasia is the Queen of the Brow, and all of her products are amazing, especially this gel which will keep every hair in place all day long.
5: This pomade is my everyday go to brow filler! As I mentioned before, I love a strong brown and this give a dark and even colour. You do have to purchase a brush (or use one you have) separately; it is worth it though.
Thank you so much for all your love last week as I took a bit of a break! I appreciate all your comments, messages, and patience. Everyone needs a breather occasionally, and I hit a wall where I needed to refresh my creative spirit. I’m so excited to be back and to have new looks and collaborations to share with you over the next few weeks!
Happy Monday loves!
