Makeup Monday: Pumpkin Beauty

Every fall the pumpkin spice latte is released and people everywhere feel the season has officially arrived!

Confession: I hate them. I also don’t like pumpkin pie.

I can just imagine your shocked face, people always seemed appalled when I tell them that. There’s just something about pumpkin food that I can’t wrap my mind around.

Pumpkin products that I can get behind, however, are beauty products! Did you know that pumpkins contain alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) which increase cell turnover, to brighten and smooth the skin? Not to mention they are chock full of vitamin A and C that help to soften, brighten, soothe the skin and prevent aging. To me that seems like a better use of the gourd than making it into an icky psl!

1: Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask

This product will leave you with a glow bright than a jack-o-lantern! If you haven’t used this brand before you can’t go wrong with any of his products. I love how fresh and vibrant my skin feels when I wash this mask off- and the feeling last for days on end.

2: Mychelle Incredible Pumpkin Peel

If your skin is worn out from the summer sun, this peel will revive and refresh it in the quickest possible time! Plus all the vitamin A and C will smooth and nourish your skin.

3: Pumpkin Spice Latte Highlighter

This highlighted might look super scary with its light orange colour, however, it goes on to give the perfect glow that makes you glow from within! Plus it’s an amazing deal at just $5 for a product that will last longer than the pumpkin on your front porch (or the latte you will down in 10 minutes!).

4: So Rich Pumpkin Spice Cuticle Oil

I’ve talked about cuticle oils before and this one is the cream of the crop. The enzymes provide amazing health benefits to not only your cuticles but also your porous nails.

So in the presence of these lovely products can you please forgive my dislike for the infamous psl? I hope so. I’d love to hear what fall products you love! Have a great week beauties!

I’ve recently been reading on beauty products that contain pumpkin and I found it to be quite interesting, mainly because I had no idea of all the amazing benefits it has for the skin! I’ll have to check out that enzyme mask, it seems like one my skin would love! Thanks so much for sharing, beauty, and I hope you’re having the best day so far!
