I’m going to start off this post on an honest note: I’m the worst about wearing sunscreen! I hate the way it feels, and I hate the way most of them smell. Every dermatologist out there is tsk tsking me…. Ugh. Fortunately for classic sunscreen haters like me, there are so many new products out there that don’t feel like a traditional sunscreen, yet have all the benefits and protection one needs on a day to day basis. I love that you don’t have to think about adding these as another step in your routine, but rather are products you’d mostly use anyways!
1: Amore Pacific Color Control Cushion Compact SPF 50+
I recognize that this only comes in four shades- that part kind sucks. The product is amazing and super blendable, so they are able to only offer the four versatile shades! I love that it’s moisturizing and yet not oil inducing. It’s the light feeling coverage and high SPF you want and need for the summer.
2: Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral Powder SPF 40
Talk about easy peasy SPF! I love this click up and brush on mineral sunscreen formula. It doesn’t leave me feeling icky and sticky and it’s perfect staying shine free all day.
3: Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection SPF 50+
This sunscreen is perfect for face and body, children and adults! It’s great for sensitive skin, and has a dry finish that isn’t oily and icky. Perfect for all over protection on beach days!
4: Australian Gold Continous Spray SPF 30
This is my favourite all over sunscreen! Have you ever smelled an Australian Gold product? It’s like a tropical beach! Absolutely amazing.
5: Dior Addict Lip Glow SPF 10
This gives you the perfect addition of slight colour to your lips! It’s smooth, creamy, and moisturizing; the perfect lippie for a summer day.
6: Supergoop Day to Day Set
This Supergoop set contains body, face, lip, and hand sunscreen each formulated with SPF to keep every inch of you protected from the harmful rays of the sun.
I LOVE the sun, and honestly can’t get enough of it during the warm summer days. I’m trying to be smarter the older I get, and the more I learn about sun damage. You’ll still find me soaking it up, but I’ll be wearing all of these to keep the aging effects at bay!
