Makeup Mondays: Rollerballs For Life

“A successful perfume is one in which the formula is as beautiful as the fragrance…. One that makes the woman wearing it smile and awakens desire in a man.”

-Francois Demachy

I have found people are either perfume people are they are not. Whether you love it or hate is they is no denying there is a sexy and slightly mysterious aurora around it! The woman in film noir who holds the classic bottle, the slim compact holding memories in solid form (scent is the strongest form of memory). You might not be ready to commit to a full bottle of at times very expensive liquid and these days you don’t have to. Welcome to your arsenal rollerballs! A super inexpensive and very travel-friendly perfume option.

I’m sharing some of my favourite rollerballs that are fantastic year round! I personally own each of these and have even bought replacements when they run low. #addicted

1: Elizabeth and James Nirvana

I love anything that comes in sets- I couldn’t decide between the White or Black scent and with these rollerballs I didn’t have to! They are delightful on their own or layered together. White is a feminine scent with a slight musk that keeps it from being too floral and Black balances feminine and masculine without being too dark or light.

2: Victor and Rolfe Flowerbomb

When this perfume debuted I thought it would be wayyyy too sweet and light for my taste (I’m more spice and less sugar when it comes to my scents!) However, I was pleasantly surprised to find it more sultry and less gardeny.

3: Replica Beach Walk by Maison Margiela

Salt, sand, surf, even a slight hint of sunscreen! This will put you in a summer mood in the middle of winter and make you feel dreamy all summer long. You just have to smell it for yourself!

4: Travalo Touch Refillable Rollerball

Have a scent you already love? Make it portable with this sleek little piece. Easy peasy!

Spraying a spritz of perfume is something most gals are accustomed to- using a rollerball can is a little different. The application is very precise and easy to manage. Roll the scent right onto your pressure points for ultimate impact!

  • Inner Wrist
  • Inner Elbow
  • Behind Knees
  • Behind Ears

Another good spot? At the base of your hairline- perfect for a slightly scented and memory filling hug!

Are you a perfume gal or can’t stand it? I’d love to hear your favs in the comments! Have a lovely week beauties.

Rollerballs are my fav! So easy to carry them in your purse and allows you to put as little or as much as you want on your body!
My current favorite is the Tory Burch Eau De Parfum Rollerball.

I always spritz some at the back of my neck for just that reason! Great selection, I’m interested in checking out the flowerbomb one.

Rollerballs are my jam! I have the flowerbomb one for the last year and it’s lasted me so much longer than the actual smaller oz bottle that is so much more! Great post 🙂 XX, Donna

I’m a huge fan of rollerballs! I’ve never smelled any of these, but I have a coach one that I love and carry with me everywhere. Love the tip to put it on the back of your hairline- Such a good point!

I love rollerballs for this reason, it allows you to experiment with otherwise extremely expensive perfumes, at such a fraction (sometimes HUGE fraction of the cost!). I also use it as a way to determine if I want to commit to the full size and to keep with me in case I forget to apply, which happens way too often! Thanks for sharing these scents with us, I’ve never tried any of them! I hope you’re having a great start to your week so far, beauty!
