Dont’ you hate when people ask you if you want the bad news or the good news first? Ugh. Such a difficult decision to make. I’m going to start with the bad (cause the good is really really good and I want it to make you happy!).
This week a really freaky and horrible accident happened to me: I spent Tuesday night at the ER after a fireball exploded in my face when I opened it. I’m very blessed because as the doctor said it could have been much worse! Prayers for pain are needed though.
I was able to get coffee with a good friend before the accident.
Tchaikovsky does wonders when you’re stressed and hopped up on meds. I listened to Sleeping Beauty on repeat. (I know, I’m such an old lady!)
My Sweet Baboo kept me well stocked with hot tea and my puppy cuddled 24/7 with me.
I got to do some reading- I couldn’t keep my eyes closed as long as the Dr wanted, so Mindy Kaling helped me through.
These online reads kept me entertained and I just have to share them with you!
Diana wrote this great post about fall fashion. I love fall and all the possibilities of what one can wear, and I really thought her post was wonderful!
Over on A Midwestern Mix, Kirstin motivated me to get back in the gym with her cute workout clothes. I’ve been slacking the past two weeks. I need to take her lead!
Donna showed the absolute perfect way to style boyfriends jeans. Mine are pushed all the way in the back of my closet, but with her for inspiration I might have to give them another go!
On Petite Modern Jordan showed her fall makeup favourites which just so happen to be some of mine as well! You have to check them out.
I just want to shout out to these amazing #stylecollective ladies for all their support and inspiring talent!
Happy Friday lovies!!!!!!
Oh honey!!! I am so sad you are in pain! But I am happy you are finding the joy in this situation!
Let me know if you need ANYTHING!
Thank you so much Shell!!! I really appreciate all your thoughtful texts and such over the past few days. I’m so guessed to have you in my life girlie. Hugs, Kait
Geez, sounds like a rough week, glad you weren’t too hurt but way to make some lemonade from that lemon that was thrown at you ?
I’m really trying to! There is always a silver lining. Hugs, Kait
Quite a close call. Thank goodness it wasn’t too bad.
