Imagine walking into Sephora and boldly announcing to the sales clerk:
“I’m in love with a pink eye right now.”
That phrase gets as many odd looks as you think it would. I’m thinking I need to start saying:
“I’m in love with pink summer eye makeup.”
Of course, the reactions are not nearly as much fun as with the first phrase!
In all honesty, I wear makeup maybe three days a week. Lately though, every time I pull out my products it’s to do a pink summer eye makeup look. As always, I promise to never share products that I haven’t tried and loved for at least 3 months! These five have been in my bag for longer than that though and together create endless combinations for a pink summer eye.
1: Urban Decay Naked Cherry Eyeshadow Palette
Confession: I own all the Naked palettes. I just love the color payoff and the amazing creamy texture of Urban Decay’s shadows. When this released I didn’t immediately add it to my cart because I thought there was no way I would ever use it. Foolish me. Each color is super wearable! I love the darker burgundy’s as just a wash over my lid and the bright pinks as a liner for a pop of fun summer color!
2: STILA Glitter and Glow Liquid Eye Shadow
Like the Cherry palette, I was super hesitant to buy this liquid shadow! I thought I would either have disco ball fall out under my eyes OR it would seriously irritate my eyes as a contact wearer. Eventually the allure of glitter made me add it to my cart and I’m so glad I did! This product does not budge- whether you apply it as a shadow or a liner. Plus the available shades are dreamy!
3: Tarte Chrome Paint Shadow Pot
Here’s another product I was scared of a full sparkle fall out happening! This cream shadow is blendable and smooth- no glitter chunks or sparkle drops. It will last without creasing for any summer date or errand running you have, because pink glittery eyes are not just for special events!
4: Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Shadow
Apparently not only do I like pink summer eye makeup I like it in a cream eye shadow form! I love how quick and easy it is to do a dewy look with these Caviar Sticks. Basically you just draw and blend with your finger! I use this above and below my lash line to create a glowy look. Also, a little birdie told me that Sara Jessica Parker loves this product in Jungle to bring a pop to her blue eyes. I’ve tried it and the deep emerald green really is gorgeous!
5: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
I’ve talked about how perfect the Urban Decay 24/7 eye pencil is before. This Sienna shade makes it a must for any pink summer eye makeup look! I’ve been doing a completely bare eyelid, with mascara on the top and a bold line of this liner across the bottom lash line for a look that is summer ready without looking like I have to be in the desert for it to work. Work and date night friendly!
What has been your go to makeup look with the warmer weather?
Are you all about the teals or is a bronzy look more your thing?
I would love to know which products you can’t live without right now!

(PS: I included my favorite primer and go to mascara in this line up!)
I love how this is so short, sweet, and to the point. I’ve noticed I’ve been collecting pink-toned palettes here and there and have had to resist a few purchases because I have so many. I’ve always wanted to try Tarte but never have for some reason. This paint shadow pot is beautiful! Maybe now I can have a good excuse to buy from them!

I am ALL about a pink eye makeup look right now! The cherry palette is one of my favorites ever. I just can’t get enough!
The Cherry palette is sooo good! I have been wanting more red/purple colors for my collection. The NARS orgasm collection also has a lot of peachy pink tones – I’m here for it!
