I’m one of those believers that the 90s were the best! The Disney Channel movies, the pop stars, the style! Well to an extent the style- but this time around 90s style is all of the good without the icky. For instance the rhinestone bedazzling isn’t back- thanks goodness. However, spaghetti straps and chokers are, and my inner 90s child couldn’t be happier! I’m sharing a couple of tips on how to wear these two trends without looking like you haven’t updated your wardrobe from your tween years.
This accessory seems super challenging to wear, but there are some ways to make one more practical. When picking your choker, remember the style is a standout- you don’t need a bunch of doohickeys, or thingamabobs on your choker. Simple velvet, leather wraps, a single silver strand are the ways to go with this look!
I’m pretty sure everyone is calling this style “tank top” right now, but they will always be spaghetti straps to me! The style is very baring up top, so remember to keep it balanced with a longer skirt length or wide legged trouser. Like everything in life balance is key!
Can you believe we’re in the middle of May?! 2016 is just flying by. I hope it’s been good for you so far! I’ve included some of my favourite chokers, spaghetti straps, and strappy heels below (including my exact pair!).

PS: Another 90s’ trend? Baby hairs. Mine in this look come courtesy from the oven catching fire in my face a few months ago. I had to let them show for this shoot! The regrowth process has been long- at least my eyebrows came back!!!
