I feel that I am not alone when I say I have a love/hate relationship with working out! It’s one of those things I like when I’m doing it, but I do not make it a priority as I should. I love swimming and yoga to zen out, and rowing and weightlifting to engage beast mode (haha!). I also enjoy a workout that use my own weight or resistance bands to create results- the best part is this form of fitness can be done anywhere!

TKO joined the fitness scene in 1996, and evolved from a boxing equipment provider into a fitness and wellness clothing-equipment-accessories-lifestyle brand. I will say I’ve never used a four way band like this before, so I was really excited to try it out! The quality of the product is excellent, nylon wrapped rubber and sturdy connections. You know how important that last part is if you’ve ever had a band snap on you (I have and it’s no fun at all). In the above pics I’ve shown a couple of ways you can use a four way resistance band to workout your whole body! Legs, core, and arms are all covered. I don’t know about you, but I love time saving workouts!

We have all played around with pattern mixing in our daily wardrobes, but have you tried it out with you gym gear? I’m loving these varied stripe pants from Old Navy with my snakeskin LuluLemon tank! I know we always grab whatever gear is available when trying to squeeze a workout in, but taking an extra 5 seconds to feel confident in what your wearing can totally change your workout!

That weird thing on my leg is my cellphone “arm” band. I have an iphone 6s+ and it’s huge! I can’t find a band that works to carry it on my arm while working out; my solution is to put it on my leg. My tracker catches all my movement, but I don’t have to worry about it sliding off.

    How has TKO been around since 1996 and I have never heard of them!? I love resistance bands. They do an awesome job of toning and tightening!!

    Hey Kait, you look so cute in your workout gear. My favorite part of working out is dressing up for it haha. I hate to work out but tries to twice a week! I need to get that iPhone strap, it’s so hard to find something to holds something so bulky!

    I have a love/hate relationship with it too. If it wasn’t for my PT for kicking my butt I probably wouldn’t work out as much as I do. It’s still really hard for me with resistant bands – I have really weak muscle memory since my hospitalization. But I think it’s definitely wonderful.

    And how do you always look so great while working out? I can’t even. Lol!! Adorable!

    I’ve never used resistance bands before, thanks for sharing! I’m one of those people that prefer to workout on their own, rather than going to the gym, so I think this would be perfect for me to do at home.

    Can we talk about fitness inspo!? My workouts have drastically lessened since being pregnant, BUT I loved doing HIIT for a workout that’s short and sweet! Maybe not the sweetest, but you get what I mean lol. Cute fitness gear always helps me get in the zone and didn’t realize Old Navy had so many options!     I’ve never tried a four-way resistance band! I HATE cardio (seriously – loathe may even be a more appropriate word), but you can bored easily with just strength training with weights — I’m excited to try one of these out!

    Love this post. Like you, I have a love/hate relationship with working but it feels oh so good when I do it. I work with resistance bands as well mostly for upper body strength. They’re great as long as you’re consistent with them which can sometimes be a challenge. Love your workout gear as well and good idea with the phone pouch! Xoxo
